Umm. Aren't cryptominers usually added by malware, i.e. the very thing these softwares are intended to BLOCK??

Well, at least it sounds like user can just turn these ones off.
*Always* check the changelogs BEFORE updating that important software!

Mozilla's in the game too, Mozilla backflips on accepting crypto after ‘planet-incinerating’ backlash.

dslreports: Norton 360 inbuilt crypto miner difficult to delete.


Yep, I long, long ago turned off antivirus.
Instead, I use NoScript ;-).
