Whitelist partially forgotten after Firefox Updates?

Firefox 86, Windows 10, NoScript 11.2.3
Twice in the last few weeks most of my whitelist sites have been lost. Oddly, some of them are still retained - it is unclear why.
This appears to occur after Firefox updates.
Is this a known issue? Is there any fix other than manually exporting the whitelist anytime it is updated?
