[Resolved] Grayed-out areas

Post by donnc »

I also noticed there are grayed-out areas both at the bottom of the drop-down menu where it says "Allow http://forums.informaction.com" Clicking on the grayed-out area has no effect obviously because it's grayed-out. So why is it grayed-out? That's what I want to select ... to "Allow http://forums.informaction.com" or some other website. In the NoScript Option drop-down on the whitelist tab when you add an address to the whitelist the 'Allow' is also grayed-out so it doesn't work either. I can't add any new allowed websites to the whitelist. Earlier versions of NoScript didn't have this problem. Where can I go to re-install one of those earlier versions that still worked perfectly without the grayed-out areas.

Please check if NoScript Options|Advanced|HTTPS|Behavior|Forbid active web content unless it comes from a secure (HTTPS) connection is set to "Never" (its default value).
If it's not, please revert it to "Never" unless you really know what you're doing.

Thanks for recognizing the symptom and knowing the cause and suggesting the cure. All I can think is the previous or next to previous upgrade changed the setting. I know I didn't change anything. Anyway, thanks I'm back on track.
