Exclude files from FlashGot

Is there an option to exclude files from FlashGot? My Problem is that I want FlashGot not to cope with pdf. Usually I clicked on a pdf and it was opened in Foxit Reader, but now depending on my settings in FlashGot I either get the window with the three options (open, FlashGot, save) or Free Download Manager (I'm using it with FlashGot) appears. Now I'd like FlashGot to activate with every download except pdf. I know about the option with the file extensions but it would be hell of a work adding every possible file extension there except pdf  .

So is there a better way?

PS: I've also Nitro PDF download plug-in installed in FF 3.5.3 but FlashGot seems to overpower it  .

What does happen if you select "Open..." after checking "Do this always for this file type" on the bottom?

That depends on my settings in FlashGot. If I set it to get all downloads former checking "Do always for this file type" has no influence. I get it to open it when I choose the file extension depending behaviour, but then I have to select FlashGot for every other download manually (in the window with the three options).

If you disable FlashGot, does the problem persist?
The only way that a PDF (or any file type) would be sent to (picked up) by FlashGot is if you perform a FlashGot operation (like FlashGot All or Selection ...).

Simply clicking on a PDF should cause it to open with whatever application is set to open PDFs. Either internally in the browser via a plugin or externally in some PDF program.

I believe it is going to be a "file type" issue in your FF settings.

Wow, now I nearly thought the problem's solved. The site I used formerly for trying had an download order in the pdf-links  . So I tried your suggested page and it works fine, when I deactivate FlashGot or if I select to use the Foxit Browser plug-in (reading pdf in a browser tab), but if I select open in Foxit Reader I get the FDM window from FlashGot for download?!
