Noscript let Youtube ads trough?

I use Adblock Plus with Noscript, and today just a while ago when browsing videos I suddenly got ads playing before the videos. These were diffetent from regular pre-video ads I see on my mobile which has no addons, as these are bright white images with faded images in the background and small adverticement phrace gor sites like HBONordic abd some random brands. When I checked Noscript, it showed sites "googlesyndication" and "tpc.googlesyndication.com" being blocked by default when these ads appear per my settings, but the ads played nonetheless.
I updated a video page as one of these ads started playing, and it seemed to have stopped them playing only occasionally, as sometimes Noscript shows the mentioned domains being blocked and sometimes the still play with them.

I looked into the ads and people say Adblock Plus itself has trouble blocking these new ads, but I wonder what would make Noscript strugle against them as well?

NoScript is not an adblocker.

Yeah I know, but Noscript in the padt has seemed to be able to block ads when the domain displaying them is blocked, like doubleckick.net on Youtube has stopped ads from showing when Adblock Plus has had hiccups for whatever reason.

That generally only happens when the specific ads depend on third-party active content from a site you didn't allow, and their static content (if any) doesn't display anything.

NoScript is a security tool, this is only a side effect.

Alright, thanks for clarifying.
