noscript.autoReload is ignored?

Hi -- FF 76 on Kubuntu 20.04, NoScript 11.0.25.

noscript.autoReload is set to "false", yet any time I make a change to tab prefs (e.g. temporarily trust a site) the page reloads.

Anything else I can do to prevent this? I only ever want to reload manually.

Thanks!

NoScript Webext can't read about:config prefs.

Currently there is no way to configure the auto-reload behavior, but it has been requested by a number of users.

Oh, so the noscript about:config prefs are just leftover cruft in my FF profile?

Thanks for the reply. Hopefully the feature can be added some time; it's a real problem sometimes when the reload is forced.

Correct, they are leftover from NoScript Classic.

+1

(On a sort of related note, it is counter-intuitive that clicking the red X "Close" button after changing permissions still results in an automatic reload.)

If I filter by "noscript" and delete everything I find in about:config, is there any risk of harm to the current noscript?

No, clearing those old NoScript Classic prefs won't affect it at all.
