I find that some sites don't work with NoScript and using temporary whitelist on all the JS sources doesn't work and I have to disable the add on (and remember to re-enable it afterwards). Is there some reason why sites don't work with everything whitelisted?
Example site:
https://www1.firstdirect.com/1/2/ib/mobile#logon
(It's the mobile site for a bank).
It works fine with noscript disabled.
This is on an up to date Honor Play phone running Android 9 (Pie), Firefox 66.0.02, NoScript 10.6.1. The only other addon I use is uBlock Origin and this has no effect on the problem.
Note: having created this message on a desktop PC the same behaviour is reproducible there (a second JS source turns up after you've whitelisted the first but whitelisting that too doesn't help).
Really really whitelist site/disable NoScript per site.

What happens after you enter your username?
Does the full site login work?
(After disabling uBlock Origin...)
If you allow all for the tab, does that work?
If you allow globally, does that work?

Re: Really really whitelist site/disable NoScript per site.
I can't see anywhere to enter my username. I get a screen with a large "first direct" in white on black, and underneath "Because we want to make sure we're doing a good job, we may monitor or record calls. We hope you don't mind.". And that's it.
This is with just Noscript installed, and all restrictions disabled (S! for an icon). Clearly it's not disabling everything as the (first direct) site is fine on both mobile and desktop with NoScript disabled!
It's the same for the full site:
https://www1.firstdirect.com/online/#/
(You can try this yourself without a first direct account - you're not getting anywhere near a logon box with NoScript installed!)

I looked in Edge, I think it was, can't tell them apart these days, rather then in 66, but my end showed a login box, which, without a valid username, returned a "bad user name" message.

At least from the desktop, firstdirect.com doesn't look to be too usable in FF 66 with NoScript.
FF 66 vs Chrome (or Edge, not sure?).

Yes, you're getting what I'm getting (which was why I posted in the bug forum as it's not a mobile (only) problem). There's nothing more I can do other than disable noscript whenever I do online banking unless I use my ubuntu desktop and use the full site. It's odd that it works there.

The problem is reproducible here with NoScript Quantum/Firefox.
No problem with NoScript Quantum/Chromium and NoScript Classic/Waterfox.

(Right. That's what I found, though I didn't even bother with NoScript Classic.
That said, Classic & SeaMonkey look just like the Chrome screenshot.)
