html extensions on video clips

Hi, Whenever video clips I want to download have an html extension, I have to individually strip off the .html language for each one prior to downloading. Is there a way to do this for a batch of clips if it is a series with .001 etc endings? If I download the clips with the html extensions, I can't open them even with rar.
