local hosts cannot be allowed

Hi!

With new new UI and interface I cannot enable local hosts in my local network when accessing them by name.

Example:

does NOT work: http://zigbee-bridge/pwa/index.html
does work: http://192.168.0.13/pwa/index.html

The hostname is zigbee-bridge (a raspberry pi) and can be accessed. NoScript offers me to enable (temporary or permanent) scripts, but it does not change anything. Firefox does not releod and opening the NoScript menue again shows no change (same menu and possibilities as before and "default" still selected). Calling the host by its IP address works and NoScript behaves as it should and remembers my selection and even enables the scripts.

If this behaviour is a feature, I would appreciate a feature to define a local sub domain where this feature could be disabled. If there is any possibility to do a NS Lookup in noscript to check it against the local network.

It's not possible to add no-dot domains from the popup (except localhost). However, you should be able to add it in the NoScript Options -> Per-site Permissions.

I think this is the current behaviour: https://forums.informaction.com/viewtop ... =45#p95277

OK, thank you for the reply. I will try at home about the manual option.

Another quick question: is there another way to the options of NoScript as Firefox -> Options -> AddOns -> Extensions -> NoScript -> Options?

Thank you in advance

Yes. One of the icons in the popups toolbar.

Actually, it looks like you CAN allow the no-dot domain from the popup. You just need to enable "full adresses" in the NoScript Options -> Appearance, and you should get the line with the full address in the popup. The line with empty domain column that does nothing is a bug though.

@Giorgio: Looks like this still needs fixing. Discussed beforehand here: https://forums.informaction.com/viewtop ... 627#p96310
