This was on the General page when asked what those new icons are.

But the other question was (or was it?) unanswered: How long they affect?
Or: How temporary they are?

Giorgio's anwer suggests that you have to click them again to revoke them.

But what happens when I leave that page or shut Firefox?

At least when I close Firefox and run it again, there is no trace left what I've allowed or not.
(By the way nothing? but the different icons indicate this anyway.)

I did some research and found out that I was a little/completely astray.

Looks like like both of them are temporary and global, but
the "disable restrictions" is valid only on that tab where you were when pressing it.
Am I right?

And does disable restrictions" allow something more than "set all trusted" with all boxes checked?

Unfortunately not.
The "Disable restrictions globally (dangerous)" one is permanent, valid for all the tabs and windows, and survives browser restarts.
The "Disable restrictions for this tab" works for the current tab only, and is volatile (i.e. it goes away on browser restart or even if you disable and reenable NoScript.
