Hello,
I am wondering how to install NoScript with Quantum 58.0.2. This is the release enforced by my company on my company laptop.
Latest NoScript release 10.1.7.5 will not install on Quantum 58.
Thanks in advance for your support. BTW, I love this extension!

Tell your company they are putting
their security at risk by not upgrading Firefox to latest release 59.0.2. Be sure to provide them this link -

NoScript 10 should work in FF 58 (& 57 & 59).
What does happen when you try to install NoScript?
Is your company blocking the installation of extensions in general?
58.0.2. This is the release enforced by my company on my company laptop
That seems rather ridiculous on their part.
Given that 58 has security vulnerabilities, fixed in 59.
Sounds like they should be on an ESR release.
Currently, 52, pre-Quantum.
When 60 ESR comes out, in a few months or whatever, that will be Quantum.
(And ya' beat me to it

.)

Yeah, but NoScript
10.1.7 and up, err, shouldn't.

Well, isn't that just crazy.
Well, isn't that just like a Microsoft thing to do.
So you mean to tell me, that as these alpha "releases" of "Quantum" come out, as they add "features", in doing so, they are apt to continually be breaking, well, everything, including extensions, such that every extension, or at least any extension that tries to use the newest implemented features of FF, essentially invalidates all versions that came before for a particular FF version level.
Like wow.
I never even thought of it like that before.
Like I'm sure someone I know just LUVS that!
So NoScript 10.1.8 ONLY supports FF 59.
And a user of FF 58, like the OP here, is supposed to know, or realize this, & also know what the corresponding version of NoScript he needs in order to have it be able to install on his version of FF.
Wonderful, is all I've got to say

.
Way to go, Mozilla!

So what I've done on my end, named that file as such:
> noscript-10.1.8.1rc2 (FF59+).xpi
to kind of clue me in that that version needs FF 59.

Hello to all,
@barbaz: "Tell your company they are putting their security at risk by not upgrading Firefox to latest release 59.0.2." / This is not going to do much.... I am already gratefull that I can use FF and not forced to do with IE or EDGE!
@therube: thanks for the link to Version 10.1.6.5. This one has installed properly and is operating fine.
thanks for your support!
