embedded videos from youtube do not display

Hi,

I have just installed the latest version of No Script but all now all embedded you tube videos will not display. I have encountered this error before and `fixed` it by uninstalling Firefox. Which really is not ideal.

Other embedded video works, for example videos from liveleak, this only seems to affect youtube. If a youtube video is present, the placeholder (if that is the correct term) for the video is white, and I can right click to get the usual flash context menu with settings, about adobe flash etc.

I tried resetting the permissions for no script and reloading the page to no avail.

Hopefully someone can offer some advice.

cheers,
keith

FF 3.5.2
No Script 1.9.8.7

Are you using latest Flash player version?
Are both ytimg.com and youtube.com allowed?
If answer to both the questions above is yes, could you try Standard Diagnostic?

Sorry I was a little light on the information there.

Yes, I just uninstalled flashplayer and installed the latest version.

Both ytimg.com and youtube.com are allowed and if I go to youtube.com I can view videos. It's just embedded videos which I'm having the problem with.

I'll try the standard diagnostic which you suggest and see what it says.

Thank you for the speedy reply.

Running in safe mode with all extensions disabled, the embedded videos still do display.

So I guess it's a firefox issue rather than a No Script one. Please accept my apologies for wasting your time and again thanks for the speedy response.
