by NOSCRIPT causing Ubuntu to hang
I have had no trouble with NOSCRIPT, until I installed version 1.9.8.4. Now, it cause Ubuntu to hang when I go to a never-visited-before site and allow the top-level domain.
Anyone else having this problem?
Configuration:
Ubuntu Jaunty
Firefox 1.0.13
NOSCRIPT 1.9.8.4.

Once Ubuntu hangs, even doing CTRL-ALT-DEL doesn't help because the keyboard and mouse are not responsive.

Firefox 1.0.13?!
Does the problem persist with 1.9.8.7?
Do you allow the top-level domain manually or have you got the "automatically allow" option checked?

Clean test profile, no other extensions, NS latest development=latest stable=1.9.8.7
Test URLs
http://www.internode.on.net/
http://www.news.com.au/

Clear cache, reset NS, navigate to each site, CTRL SHFT backslash. Page refreshes smoothly, no hang.
clear cache, reset NS, navigate to each site, CTRL SHFT S, select Allow for each TD, page refreshes smoothly, no hang.
Clear cache, reset NS, check "Automatically allow...", navigate to each page. No hang.

If I remember that is the latest stable 3.x branch version, so there should not be an issue, we have one image running that version with 1.9.8.7 and its fine, about 16 other extensions on it too. Consider updating to the latest version and see if the problem persists.
