I granted a full acess to JDownloader but this problem persists. Is this be a problem on the side of flashgot?

Tru to open
http://localhost:9666/flashgot in Firefox: if there's a response, it's a FlashGot problem, otherwise it's a JD or network configuration issue.

There is a response if JDownloader is already started. If it isn't, there is classic connection error - server is temporarily unavailable etc. etc. What could it mean?

That's normal, since it's JDownloader responding there.
However, before giving up with that error, FlashGot tries to launch JDownloader. Maybe something is going wrong there, otherwise JDownloader would simply start if it's not running yet.
Could you show me your
FlashGot Options|Advanced|Show log output?

Looks like JDownloader is taking too much to start and no response is obtained (FlashGot tries 2 times after launching JDownloader).
But does JDownloader start in the end?

Yes, it starts. But it isn't asocciated with selected files. I have to "CTRL+F2" them again...

You may want to try extending the interval between the attempts FlashGot makes to contact JDownloader.
Please increase the
flashgot.dmsopts.JDownloader.delay about:config preference to 12 or more.

Does entering
Code: Select all
/usr/lib/jvm/java-6-sun-1.6.0.14/jre/bin/java -Xmx512m -jar /home/yoyo/.jd/JDownloader.jar
in a terminal work?
If not, what's the error you get?

No idea then. It might be a permission issue, but Firefox is not reporting any error when launching that command line, nor you're getting any error doing that manually...
Puzzled.
Maybe you need to live with launching JDownloader manually
