I've used NoScript for years without problems but now I'm at my wits end. Even when I slowly, oh so slowly (because the interface is so awkward), temporarily allow the parts of websites that I need, the websites don't load properly. The interface is super clunky as it is but now I just feel like an idiot because I can't get it working. I have to open up so many pages in a secondary browser just to be able to use them and that negates the usefulness of NoScript completely. I miss the old interface so much, it was clear and easy to use. I've gotten quite good in the years I've been using this extension at identifying which parts of a site I want to allow, so it shouldn't be a question of that.
This is just really depressing...

There is no but. You used NoScript for a long time, right? Then NoScript 10 should be easy for you. All you have to do is try using NoScript 10 as you used NoScript 5. Thats what I did, when NoScript 10 opened in front of my eyes for the first time, I looked for the functions I used in version 5 and they all in this version. What they are being called now might not be the same but I always known that Allow and Temporarily allow is the same as Trusting. I always called, in my mind, domains that are not Trusted or Untrusted as Default, that one was easy. And we used to Forbid to set Trusted sites as Default, now we click the Default preset but in the end, is all the same. Perhaps, is even easier now.depressed wrote:I've used NoScript for years without problems but now..........

I hear you bro. I can't work out this interface either.
SO confusing and things just don't seem to 'stick' and work.
