[RESOLVED] ytimg blocked as "E4X hijacking" (killing youtube

Hi folks,
I'm sure I am missing something simple but I keep getting this error (found in FireFox error console) on each load/reload of the youtube.com site and any remote site that streams youtube hosted videos:
making changes to various settings and I am still getting a very broken page. Bold text and hyperlinks are there and work as well but the rest is a simple plain white background, no "flair" at all, text just all lined on the side and left justified, no placeholders, graphics, buttons (although the search box is there) and no usual "push here to allow" overlay or popup verify for temp override/watch video. oh, and OnMouseOver's give me a slew of errors (five or so fly by on the error console)- so some JS detections appear active still- but it is a mess.
I whitelisted both youtube.com and ytimg.com temporarily, no help, refresh, empty cache, restart browser also do nothing.
environment: Dell laptop, 2.5GHz dual core, 4GB ram, 32bit Vista(ULT)sp2, running FF3.5.2 with NoScript1.9.8.4 and again on upgrading that to development vs.1.9.8.5 through a (no filtering) remote proxy and behind OnlineArmor v3.5.0.32 pfw.
