XSS Warning Behavior Change?

Post by TheFanciestBard »

I really don't know what it is about the most recent update but I've never encountered this before and I've used NoScript for a number of years at this point.

Why is it that there are constant pop ups about XSS attacks? I've never had this window before and it's extremely annoying. It happens a lot on Tumblr and I feel like the program should intuitively understand that (blog name).tumblr.com trying to access assets.tumblr.com is not a XSS attack. Occasionally this would come up before when I would attempt to reblog or like something if it was on a heavily customized theme but now it happens literally every time I go to anyone's page. Is there anything I can do to stop having to hit "Allow" and "Always allow" 7-10 times per blog?

I'm seeing the same thing but only on one computer despite using several computers to go to the very same sites.

Looks like a number of people are having this problem, with several threads going:

No solution yet. Maybe these threads could be consolidated?
