problems with latest version

Post by photoblogger »

Hi

Im having problems with the latest version of noscript (10.1.4) in Firefox 57.0 64bit on W7 pro. It feels like some menus are hidden (really don't like new version)

an example of how it's not working more me is here:

The only way I can get any of the selection menus on the left to work is to completly deactivate NoScript. Previously (I beleive) I had a limited selection that enabled filtering but no more, but even if I "allow everything on page" it doesn't work.

The problem now is that although it claims I have 11 odd scripts, it's only showing between 1 and 3 (depending on what I do)

I also cannot find the "clear list" option which I have used a couple of times previously when my selections have become a little overzealous.

I also have Adblock plus, deactivating this also has no effect.

1. If you have 10.1.4 there is a bug that keeps NS from loading all script sources (https://forums.informaction.com/viewtop ... 988#p93274)
2. Even if working the number reflects the count of actual scripts, while the list reflects the script sources. One source can run several scripts
3. Clearing the list can be achieved by either deleting the storage-sync.sqlight file in your firefox profile folder (thus resetting ALL settings), or by editing the debug log at the bottom of the NS options screen.

Thanks

Tried all that.. and it still doesn't work.

Is there any way to roll back to the old version, otherwise I'm going to have to disable NS

scratch that.. now I can't even post here without disabling NS.

A fix is coming.

Get this version, probably the most stable to date. 10.1.3rc3.

Get version 10.1.3rc3, thats the version I recommended.

That version is very stable and there is no problem with maximizing, the Firefox window works perfectly well, it doesn't change sizes when you click the icon.
