10.1.2 no-go how to revert to 5.1.7
I was auto converted from 5.1.7 to 10.1.2 and all I get is noscript icon with an question mark through it. Tried removing and re-installing ... no change. Suspect my OS10.6.8 and Firefox 45.9.0 could be too old; hence, want to go back to 5.1.7 ... where can I get this?
Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; rv:45.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/45.0
Re: 10.1.2 no-go how to revert to 5.1.7
NoScript 10.1.2 is only compatible with Firefox 57 and up. You should not have been auto converted.
NoScript Classic is still available at https://noscript.net/getit

Though (surprisingly) 10 does install into FF 45 (assuming that is what the OP is using).
Is there no concept of minver anymore?
https://noscript.net/getit says that 2.9.0.14 is what you should use for FF 45 (rather then 5.1.7).
Actually, NoScript 10 does state:
So, OP, are you spoofing your UA?
And @G, what's up with strict_min_version?

Re: 10.1.2 no-go how to revert to 5.1.7
Well, it can - under particular circumstances (circumstances of which I don't know - offhand). [I was able to get 10 to install into 45.] Going to guess in that the Profile was/is a mule, that with using the same Profile, jumping between FF versions (& SeaMonkey for that matter), that there is enough "screwed up" in there that anything is possible, LOL.Though (surprisingly) 10 does install into FF 45 (assuming that is what the OP is using).
Any by the same token, a new, clean FF 45 Profile will not allow 10 to install.
5.1.7 does install into 45 (& does look to work), though /getit/ says to use 2.9.0.14.
(Can we add any more numbers into the fray

That is not right. NoScript Classic is still compatible with Firefox 45, and indeed the Supported browsers list on the same page reflects that.therube wrote:/getit/ says to use 2.9.0.14.
