10.1.2 and XSS

What's going on with the XSS functionality in version 10.1.2? The transfer to the new version seems to have obliterated my XSS whitelist settings, but there's no obvious way to check this, or create new ones, and un-ticking the "sanitise cross-site suspicious requests" box has no effect. I untick it, go off to do what I need to do, find it doesn't work, go back to the settings page and it's ticked again!
