Update option

Post by NoScriptian »

Hi,

I just accidentially noticed that there's a new 10.1.2 version out. I'd like to know how the update process for older version work. Do I have to (like it just did) uninstall and re-install NS each time or will there be an "update" option in the settings menu to check for new versions and installing them from there?

Cheers

Actually if I'm not wrong the addons are automatically updated when there's a new release. Just check that you have "Update Add-ons Automatically" flagged in the "Settings" cog of the Add-ons Manager in Firefox (CTRL+SHITF+A)

Hi,

yes, automatic updates is checked but I still had v 10.1.1. Let's see how the next update will turn out.

You can also go to Tools > Add-ons Manager, right-click the listing of NoScript, and click "Find updates"
*Always* check the changelogs BEFORE updating that important software!
