Curious to the functionality of the new NoScript.

The old version would pop-up a banner on the bottom of the screen and would allow the user to quickly see what items have been blocked, and to temporarily allow all.

The new version doesn't seem to have the bottom banner and instead uses an icon in the toolbar which seems to only allow for permanent changes of "trust" or "not trusted".

Now when I go to some sites, I don't have an option to temporarily allow all and it's a major inconvenience to set the settings globally.

Is there a way to go back to how the plugin worked previously?

You can use Firefox 52 ESR with classic NoScript.

You can't "just" switch to 52 ESR though. You'll need to create a new profile, then transfer the important data to it per this link - http://kb.mozillazine.org/Transferring_ ... _-_Firefox

Thanks for the reply. Not sure I wanted to downgrade my entire FF experience.

I'd like to recommend to the developer to restore the 'temporarily allow all' button again.
