Either I am not understanding the functionality, or this is unintended.

I tried to post it more concisely, but the spamfilter just won't let me -.-

starting point:
never visited page (with all entries on default - all checkmarks off)

on changing the setting of the main page to "custom" and "scripts allowed", after the reload all scripts set on default have also scripts allowed, Including the new ones I didn't know would be loaded. It also changes all other tabs and all other entries that are set to default to whatever was set as custom behaviour for that one I changed.
This is entirely different from the prior behaviour of earlier versions.

Switching one to custom and changing the setting should not change the default behaviour of all other scripts.
Or do I fundamentally not get "it"?

I have no checked and rechecked.

1.
"custom" and "default" are identical. If I change something in one of those presets, it immediately and continuously changes the other, making the two buttons basically redundant.
Sure, "custom" has a "temporary" button, but that is basically pointless, if it also changes the "default" preset.

This means if you set any sourcedomain to custom and allow anything, it from then on is allowed on every source that is not specifically put on either trusted or untrusted, including all scripts that are "secondary load" after enabling scripts on their parent domain.

2. Additionally if all presets are configurable, one would assume that "custom" applies to the domain, but it does not.
You basically have three presets to work with trusted, untrusted, and default/custom.

Can somebody confirm this, and/or maybe tell me if that is "working as intended"? Because this is pretty disappointing. You basically can't configure any reasonable combination of checkmarks on a per domain basis and have to have all three of "untrusted, default AND custom" set to "nothing allowed".

The issue of crossover between "default" and "custom" has been fixed in 10.1.2

Thx for the quick bugfix

So this can be closed.
I wished I had gotten SOME feedback :/ I didn't even know whether this was just a "me" issue :/
