Several major sites will only partially load, even when all the scripts in the icon script list appear to be enabled, and usually set to accept non-https input. For example, I've had to disable NS 10 to get into Linkedin and several job sites.

Same here, also high CPU load across all cores on Gmail that goes away as soon as I disable NoScript outright. Sites with problems before I gave in and reverted to FF56 and NoScript 5 are:
BBC News (wouldn't load)
CNN (International edition wouldn't load, US world news page version would)
Gmail (CPU load)
Slack (wouldn't load)
Not really managed to figure out the UI properly yet either; some kind of FAQ or quick start guide would definitely be useful I think.

Same for Google search results page. Images are not displaying unless I allow all globally and the buttons are not working (like tools). There are no sites offered to trust except google.com, and that's allowed.

Same for me and LinkedIn, ...
Even trying to "Temporary allow all this page" several times on those pages did not work. I can only access them by completly disabling NoScript.

LinkedIn.com works for me using NoScript 10.1.5.7 in FF 57.0.2 on Windows 10. Here's the popup settings that I see when visiting
https://www.linkedin.com/feed/:

Hi, you guys are having problems (likely) because your Default and Trusted presets are set all wrong.
For Default, make sure only the boxes for Fetch, Fonts and Other are ticked. And for Trusted, tick all boxes. If you do it like that, Twitter and Google search should work after trusting or temporarily trusting the required domains.

If there are still issues after doing the above check the debug log in the no script options (activate the box next to "debug" at the bottom)
It should start with:
{
"DEFAULT": {
"capabilities": [],
"temp": false
},
"TRUSTED": {
"capabilities": [
"script",
"fetch",
"other",
"media",
"frame",
"font",
"webgl",
"object"
],
"temp": false
},
"UNTRUSTED": {
"capabilities": [],
"temp": false
},
Which basically is the text version of all the checkmarks in the UI.
Today (again) media started playing on default pages for me, even though the checkmark wasn't set.
It DID show up in the above text under default-> capabilities though.

Hi,
now I'm no longer a Guest user. Thanks for your sugestions up to now.
I'm using Win10, FF 57.0.2 and NoScript 10.1.5.7
When i open LinkenIn and allow temporary everything on this page, i can only see
-linkedin.com
-
https://radar.cedexis.com
-licdn.com
which are all trusted now.
Wenn logging in, i get the page, expect the "menu bar" at the top of the page.
THX
