Hi, newbie here...
I came across session-replay scripts on another website besides arstechnica (which I have bookmarked), and my reaction was
the same as yours.
I have no formal IT education, but I have managed to prevent any of my PC's over 15 years from being compromised.
Question: Does NoScript block SRS by default?
Sorry if it's a dumb question
How can I recognize SRS when I visit a website?

I would say yes. This stuff requires active content and NoScript blocks scripts by default.

Am I the only person to save my logins on paper?
No, I don't save to password managers - too smart for that.
