For all the shade that gets thrown Microsoft's way, they have patched it long ago, only Linux, Android and Apple are still compromised. It sucks though for sure, but it was a only a matter of time after WEP and WPA got so whacked. Keep in mind, don't know if they discuss that, to be honest didn't read it - already knew about it, but WPA2's math is sound, it is the implementation that is completely borked.

I think they sort of mention that, but they didn't say it as clearly as you did. Thanks for that.

If you get a chance, read the original paper on the vulnerability, it will explain a lot better to read the research itself. If you can't find it, let me know and I will send you the PDF or the link to it.
