Result: Allowing a site does not refresh page

Win7 x64
Firefox 56 x64
e10s disabled

existing Profile
("specs", including extensions, here, https://forums.informaction.com/viewtop ... 166#p90166)
existing NoScript 5.1.2rc7
start from Session Restore
open about:support, check a few things
(post in other thread)
drag NoScript 5.1.2rc8 into window, restartless

TA, from NoScript icon, or using shortcut
icon reflects the change, but the page does not refresh (& it should)

i suspect that on a browser restart, all will be well.

also...

every 2 shortcut allow/disallow actions spams the Error Console,
as does every 1 NoScript icon action

Code: Select all

 legacy.js:19:11
NoScript preferences backup on the WebExtension side legacy.js:19:11
so...

Ctrl+Shift+\ + Ctrl+Shift+\
generates 1, legacy.js:19:11
NoScript preferences backup on the WebExtension side legacy.js:19:11

every allow or forbid from the NoScript icon
generates 1, legacy.js:19:11
NoScript preferences backup on the WebExtension side legacy.js:19:11

Yes.
This is entirely "current" NoScript / webex-hybrid / restartless related.

i suspect that on a browser restart, all will be well.
Instead...

put in the latest release of uBo, ublock_origin-1.14.14-an+fx.xpi
(NoScript's behavior did not change)
then disabled NoScript (in Addons Manager)
then right away, re-enabled it

(A quick look says) that seems to have put things right.

Well, mostly.

NoScript icon related changes still spams Error Console.
Shortcut key changes doesn't look to do it anymore.
