I Think That if I do not get Flashgot, Noscript and Downthemall! , then it about time I shift to another Browser there are many on the WWW, I have used Firefox since its inception, time for a GOOOOOd Bye!

The remaining problem will be: What are you going to use for a downloader. They're all broken too.

I just downgraded to Firefox ESR (52) so all my extensions, including Flashgot - are working again.

Firefox's main claim to fame was the amazing number of extensions it supported. However, it was also notorious for its awful treatment of its extension developers.
Quantum, may be the final slap in the face for many of those who were still hanging on.

It's like Firefox was in the beginning, and what it should have been the about 3–4 yrs, but lost…

57.0 and 56, expect the 56 version is a portable one. (You can get it from PortableApps) and it does work with add-ons installed.

Now the only other thing is that you cannot run more than 1 instance of Firefox. So if you're browsing on 57, you'll have to close it down in order to use 56 to download whatever you found on 57. But if you have a desktop download manager in the meantime, they might work as a replacement in the mean time.

I'm running 2 versions too, 44 and 57 on Sandboxie and using Sandboxie you can run 2 instances at the same time.

Generally Giorgio prioritises NoScript higher since it's a security concern.

Noscript is now compatible with FF57. Any ideas about when Flashgot will be available? Is that the new priority or will further enhancements to Noscript be taking precedence?

NoScript is incomplete, and I suspect it will come first.

you don't know how much you appreciate something until you loose it , flashgot come back, i miss you, cant image how i will go about my life with out it, so sorry i complained when some sites fed you the videos on 2 mb chunks

@socus - Those sites (more all the time) are a PITA. For now, if I want it bad enough, I record the audio-only in real time using audio-recorder.
