how to "allow all on this page"

Hi.

I hope you don't mind me asking you what is (hopefully) a simple question that I cannot for the life of me find the answer to in the forums or at the NoScript website. So I apologize ahead of time for my inability to find this simple information.

I have searched the best I know how, but I cannot find anywhere how to either "allow all on this page" or "temporarily allow all on this page." I have used NoScript for years, but have never needed that function until now.

I noticed in the forums in many of the comments/questions/replies that this feature is available somehow, but I don't have anything anywhere that I can find to click for it.

I'm using NoScript 5.0.10 on a windows10 machine, Firefox 55.0.3 (32-bit).

All I have in my NoScript menu is 1) a list of allowed or temporarily allowed websites that I can choose to forbid singly, 2) a menu link to untrusted (currently forbidden) websites this page appears to link to, 3) a menu link to recently blocked sites, 4) a "Make page permissions permanent" function, 5) a "Revoke temporary permissions" function, and 6) an "Allow Scripts Globally (dangerous)" function. That is followed by 7) Options, and 8) About NoScript 5.0.10. There is no "allow all on this page" or "temporarily allow all on this page" functions.

Am I misunderstanding what is meant by when someone writes "click on temporarily allow all on this page"? Do I have something somehow turned off so it is not displaying? Honestly, I'm feeling rather stupid that I cannot figure this out on my own or by searching the resources connected with the NoScript site.

So any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

First thing to check is if those menu items are selected under NoScript Options > Appearance

Thank you for your response.

All 18 items under NoScript --> Options --> Appearance are selected, and have been for some time. I have not made any changes in the Options recently (all of this year - 2017 - at least). And it is possible that I have never made any changes in the Options, but I honestly don't remember for sure.

Hmm, are you on a site where all script sources are either (Temp-)Allowed or Untrusted? In such case the "Temporarily allow all this page" menu item shouldn't show up, as it wouldn't do anything in such case.

Ah. Very good. You are correct. And just to verify, I went to a number of other sites that I've never been to so I could test it, and the "temporarily allow all this page" IS there on those.

This leads to a related followup question: If I'm on a site where all script sources are either (Temp-)Allowed or Untrusted, is there a way to undo something or things in to bring back the "temporarily allow all this page" function? In other words, can one single site be reset somehow as if I've never visited it, and then have the "temporarily allow all this page" function show up again?

Yes, but there's no one-click option for that. You can go down the script listing and Forbid the sites you don't want to allow anymore. Or just delete the sites' entries from NoScript Options > Whitelist.

I appreciate all your help. Even though it was probably just basic information to you, it is very useful to me, so I'm thankful for your assistance. Have a great week!
