Website links crash firefox w/NoScript

Recently whenever I click a website link, usually in an email, Firefox opens with nothing in the address bar and freezes. It can only be closed using Windows Task Manager. The NoScript menu offers only to allow scripts globally.

Is there something in the NoScript Options menu that will fix this? I don't know what the option names mean, much less understand which one to click...

If Firefox is already open, the link loads properly.

Windows 7 64 home premium with updates current
Firefox 55.0.3 (32-bit) with NoScript 5.0.9

Moving to NoScript Support.

As a test, does disabling NoScript (Tools > Add-ons Manager > NoScript > Disable > Yes, remove ALL protections) get it working?

Yes, links work w/o NoScript.

Please check the Browser Console (Ctrl-Shift-J) when this issue happens and post here any messages related to NoScript.
(related messages usually start with either "[NoScript" or "[ABE]"; if you don't know what's related, turn off CSS warnings and post everything else you see)
