latest version of NoScript SLOWED down Firefox

The latest update to NoScript completely slowed down
my browser. Now Firefox is almost unusable.

I am using the latest version of Firefox on OS X 10.5.8.

Please help!

Known problem in 1.9.8.
Update to the NoScript 1.9.8.1 release.
