black fuzz screen - an error occurred -
cannot get video at all
too much dikin around needed in the blocked objects and only gets audio

the menu layout and wording has changed
no I do not want temporarily allow all from [domain]

youtube is in the whitelist
but still appears in the recently blocked sites

Not seeing any problem on Youtube with NoScript 5.0.7rc1, Pale Moon 27.4.0. Can you please link a specific video that fails for you?

Do you have NoScript Options > Embeddings, "Apply these restrictions to whitelisted sites too" checked?

Is "mediasource:" listed in NoScript Options > Whitelist? (It should be listed and greyed out.)

Looks like you need to un-check "Apply these restrictions to whitelisted sites too" in order to use Youtube without hassle.

In theory you should be able to, alternatively, add an entry in about:config > noscript.allowedMimeRegExp for Youtube, but I haven't been able to figure out what that entry would be in Pale Moon.

had to uncheck that
and 2 of the options

- Show place holder icon
- Ask for confirmation before temporarily unblocking an object

still only gave me audio

after that checked flashblock
it had
- Block HTML5 video
checked

unchecked it and after that it played video

rechecked the
options
- Show place holder icon
- Ask for confirmation before temporarily unblocking an object

and it stopped the video again

so those have to be off

and when FlashBlock is installed
- Block HTML5 video
needs to be unchecked
