Firefox 54.0 (64 bit) and NS 5.0.5 Break Sendmail

I am not a coder or expert user, but I have been using No Script for at least four years. I just updated Firefox to version 54.0 (64 bit) last night. I have NoScript version 5.0.5. When I use Earthlink Webmail, the sendmail function is broken.

Does it work in a new, clean profile with only NoScript installed and Scripts Globally Allowed, all other defaults?

If not, when this issue occurs, do you see anything related in the Browser Console? (Ctrl-Shift-J)
(if you don't know what's related, turn off CSS warnings and post everything else you see)

I allowed all scripts globally, refreshed the browser with webmail open, and sendmail still does not work in webmail on Firefox. It works on Safari.

I can find my profile, but why should I create an entire, new, "clean" profile merely because Firefox updated itself and broke my sendmail function in webmail? Or because NS's latest version conflicts with the new Firefox update?

the bug is clearly in Version 54.0 (64 bit) of Firefox, not in version 5.0.5 of NoScript. I reverted to Firefox 53.0.3 (64 bit) and sendmail works fine in webmail on Earthlink.net.

I sent a note to Mozilla but not through its formal "Bug Report" channel since I am not a debugger or programmer or coder.

For troubleshooting. This is the best way to check whether this problem is likely specific to your setup.

If it works fine in the new profile, the next step would be diagnosing the problem with your main profile.
