How to enable again?

To get thru an ad to view the content I wanted to see, I tried disabling NoScript by clicking Disable.

Except, that instead of simply telling me that it would be disabled when I reloaded my browser (Firefox 52.1.2), it gave me an odd series of options (from memory, like 3 of them)-IIRC I chose one which would temporarily allow all blocked sites (or so I assumed).

The content was not worth watching, so I went to turn it back on again.

And noticed it was ALREADY on.

Except that it ain't blocking anything, now. The tan notification box that SHOULD be at the bottom right of my browser window isn't there anymore, despite the checkbox insisting to me that it should be.

I then hit the disable button again to try to find what options I had seen, and it was back to what I remembered from weeks/months ago when I've done it before, a simple message that it would be disabled when I restarted Firefox, didn't get the odd one I got earlier...hit cancel so I wouldn't disable it.

Even tho I scoured all of the menus and made sure all of the appropriate check boxes were selected, I cannot get the tan notification box back.

???

When you half-disabled NoScript, it would have gone into 'Scripts Globally Allowed' mode. You can switch it back to blocking using the NoScript menu (Forbid Scripts Globally), or Options-Whitelist, uncheck 'Scripts Globally Allowed'.

Appreciate it. I was looking all over the menus for that exact button, with that being the last place I would have expected to find it. For the devs-might make more sense to put it on the first page (the "General" one).

Possibly. There does seem to be some space on that tab, and there are related options there like automatically allowing top-level sites. That's all up to Giorgio, though.
