The trend micro password manager extension not loading. The pop up tells you to try again later. With NoScript disabled, it works. This add on works in various websites. Any insight would be appreciated. My OS is WIn7 Pro x64 and Firefox 53.0.3 (64 bit) w/ NoScript 5.0.4

Any help would be appreciated

Joe

5.0.4rc1. If that doesn't work please try 5.0.3.

With NoScript 5.0.4rc1: When this issue occurs, do you see anything related in the Browser Console? (Ctrl-Shift-J)
(if you don't know what's related, turn off CSS warnings and post everything else you see)

Code: Select all

[ABE] < LOCAL> Deny on {GET https://localhost:49156/api/settings?_=1495558457866 <<< https://pwm.trendmicro.com/3.7/extensionPopOver/bho_index.html - 11}
SYSTEM rule:
Site LOCAL
Accept from LOCAL
Deny
Can I change Deny to accept in ABE ?

Don't do that. For your own safety, please fix it this way -

NoScript Options > Advanced > ABE > SYSTEM, add at the very top -

Code: Select all

Site https://localhost:49156/*
Accept from https://pwm.trendmicro.com/*
That assumes the port number "49156" is static. If it's dynamic you'll need to add this instead -

Code: Select all

Site ^https://localhost:\d+/.*
Accept from https://pwm.trendmicro.com/*

Thanks Barbaz. Resolved the issue. How do I determine if the port is static ? close and reopen browser?..or disable and enable the pwm extension ?

You're welcome. Image

If the port is dynamic and you used the first exception, you will get the issue again, but the console message will show a different number in place of "49156".

off-topic: Correct, registered users don't need to solve the CAPTCHA with every post.

How do I post the browser console results without triggering the spam control? I was previously VBJmalley unregistered and am now Chevy4777.

I am having a similar issue after clean installing windows 10 Pro x64.

Offline cache doesn't need to update, URL=https://pwm.trendmicro.com/extensionPop ... e.manifest
