"Temporarily allow top-level domains" changes block behavior

If NoScript is NOT set to temporarily allow top-level domains, when you open the main menu and select "block xy.com" for any previously allowed or temporarily allowed domain, it will be blocked, but not marked as untrustworthy. If NoScript is set to temporarily allow top-level domains, the same action will mark xy.com as untrusted. Is this intentional?

I can understand this for the top-level domain itself, but for other domains, it can be a bit cumbersome, when you're experimenting with allowing different domains to get a site working.

NoScript Version is 5.0.4rc1.
