FF Crashing

Post by Eikonix »

I'm having an issue with FF crashing when I temporarily allow a site/domain permissions. Doesn't always happen; happens roughly a third of the time.

I've read the FAQ that this is likely due to another plugin/extension that isn't developed properly.

Below is my current setup. If you're running any of these successfuly with NoScript, please let me know so I can skip testing them. Thank you!!

Extensions
Auto Unload Tab, Bloody Vikings!, Complete YouTube Saver, Containers Experiment, Decentraleyes, Font Finder, Google Translator, Greasemonkey, LastPass, Min Vid, QuickMark, Self-Destructing Cookies, Session Manager, Tab Tree, Test Pilot, Text Link, uBlock, Unpaywall

Plugins
OpenH264 by Cisco, Widevine by Google
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; WOW64; rv:52.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/52.0

What are the crash report URL(s) from about:crashes? (If the report links don't start with "bp-", first click it to submit the crash report.)

Likely, yes, but these things can be trickier than expected. So let's double check. If you disable all extensions except NoScript, does this crashing stop?

Have you read the recent reviews of ublock? First page here - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... k/reviews/

I recommend uninstalling ublock, and using uBlock Origin instead. I use the latter myself, and it works well alongside NoScript.
*Always* check the changelogs BEFORE updating that important software!
