Noscript blocks change of homepage Ubuntu Mate

Nosript blocks the change of Home- Start-page in Firefox by the user, on a Ububtu Mate System 16.10, Firefox 50.0.2 (64bit), Noscript 5.0.2.
when Noscript is disabled, everything works normal, when reactivated, the Home-, Startpage is modified to the original Ubuntu-Mate Startpage, and can't be changed by the user. Replacing Homepage in about:config does not help.
This is a new behavior, previous releases (some releases ago) of Noscript did not show this behavior.
