2.9.5.* blocks 'home' button and 'new tab override' addon

Hello,
I've just updated NS to 2.9.5.1 (I skipped 2.9.5.0, but I guess it was the version that introduced the issues, since it has huge list of changes over previous version).
2 issues appeared for me after updating NS:
1. now 'Home' button on nav-toolbar does nothing, it doesn't even generate any entries in the error console.
2. I use 'new tab override' add-on and opening new tab should open a local (file://…) .html file, but instead it opens a new empty tab with address of the file:// and if I focus address bar and hit enter - it successfully loads.
Please, fix.
