I've been using, problem free, the extension Better YouTube which, when downloading YouTube videos, links to Flashload.net. But when I try to use FlashLoad.net manually by pasting in the URL of a video from a site other than YT, say DailyMotion--first choosing DailyMotion from the drop down--I keep getting a message along the lines of "the video could not be resolved." Same NS settings. I think it worked a few weeks ago when I first installed it, but there have been a number of NS upgrades since then. I have AdBlock Plus, and I've also tried disabling that for the FlashLoad.net page.

It's maybe nothing to do with NS, but just to troubleshoot, what NS settings could be interfering? Everything is currently set to default, except Advanced>Untrusted where everything is checked except "Hide NS elements" and in Plugins where I have checked "apply to trusted sites too." I've tried, with no success, using the default NS configurations. Thanks for help.

Easiest thing, I would think, would be to disable NoScript & see if it works.
If not, then no need to look further.

Next thought would be, do you need to allow DailyMotion - ahead of time?

Thanks, but I'm wary of disabling NS completely, especially when Flash, with its very poor reputation, is involved. I have allowed DailyMotion in advance. Just thought there might be some obvious (to you) NS settings to play with without disabling completely.

Keep getting "download link can't be resolved." I thought maybe I'm pasting in the wrong stuff, but I don't see what else to use besides the url of the actual page where the video appears.

And, who knows, maybe DailyMotion changed something recently that Flashload didn't keep up with.

In facts, FlashLoad.net's Dailymotion import is broken no matter if NoScript is present or not. It's broken on Chrome and Opera as well, FWIW.

PS: Doesn't FlashGot Media make the useage of FlashLoad (or similar) unneeded in most instances?
