Feature Request: Blacklist Website

Hi. I realize that NoScript "blacklists" (most) websites by default.

Here's the situation: I keep very tight reigns on which sites I allow to run scripts on my computers. In getting a website to work properly with NoScript, it's often hit-and-miss on which child sites I need to allow. Once I figure those out and allow them, everything's great.

However, in the process of identifying the sites that are actually necessary for proper function, I often have to wade through a slew of ones that I definitely don't want to allow. Unfortunately, most times I won't know that I don't want to allow a particular site until after I have researched it. So then I don't allow it... this time. But wait, what happens the next time this website shows up in the dropdown, but I don't remember that I don't want to allow it? I end up wasting time by repeating research I've already done.

The current behavior of NoScript is that the icon and text in the dropdown change to provide visual confirmation of whether a site has been allowed or not.

What I wish to request is the ability to right-click a website in the dropdown that I know I don't want allowed, and explicitly mark it as blacklisted (this would of course be reversible using the same procedure). The dropdown would subsequently display an all-black circle with a gray "S" and the text Blocked: profileyerbutt.com or something similar that makes sense, and I wouldn't have to chase down the site again. And again.

Naturally, NoScript would treat such a blacklisted/blocked site the same as it would a 'not allowed' site. But in addition, the block would be enforced even if "Allow all this page" or "Temporarily allow all this page" is clicked.

Thank you for your consideration.

The feature you are asking for sounds exactly like the existing Untrusted sub-menu / Mark [site] as Untrusted feature.
