blob on Norton site

Post by Zeugma1 »

Hi Giorgio and Barbaz,
Yesterday (on my Win10@64bit ITA with Mozilla Firefox 46.0.1 EME-free and NoScript 2.9.0.11 + Norton Identity Safe Addon) at the it.norton.com site, I noticed a strange word "blob" (active) on noscript curtain.
After several attempts, I noticed that was activated only allowing three different scripts, namely:
norton.com
+
ensighten.com
+
clicktale.net
What is this blob?
See raw image of the printscreen (ADS removed) at http://oi63.tinypic.com/2ym9f7k.jpg

Please don't post on random unrelated threads, that is violation of Forum Rules (see #7).

I think blob: is the scheme for URLs to a script-generated image, from a <canvas> or the like.
*Always* check the changelogs BEFORE updating that important software!
