After firefox update, all websites hang firefox with 100% usage of CPU.
Disabling NoScript restore firefox usability.
firefox version: 48.0a2 (2016-04-29)
Any sugerence to solve it?

Probably,
I'm using aurora channel not nigthly, but symptoms are the same.
Every tab hang for 20sg or more, unfreeze for a second and froze again.
I test disabling all plugins except NoScript and problem persist.
e10 enable/disable don't solve the problem.

Today's Firefox Developer Edition update breaks NoScript

Firefox Developer edition was working fine with Firefox Developer Edition, until I installed the update to 48a2 that was released todasy. Now, if NoScript is enabled, Firefix will freeze if it tries to load a page, even the built-in start page. Strangely, this affects my Mac OS 10.11.4 system but cannot reproduce this problem in Windows 10.

the 29th worked fine. The 30th seems to have broke something.

Yes. This is the same issue. It's possible I was using a build older than the 29th without knowing it.

Just wanted to confirm this here, FF 48.0a2 with Noscript makes FF really slow. Kind of 20-30seconds delay before each page

Hi! Got the same problem described here. Problem is: I don't get the solution (if any is presented..)
As far as I can see, the plug-in container goes up to 3gb of memory usage, shown in task manager. no problems with noscript disabled. got the firefox 48.0a2 (64bit developer edition on aurora channel).
help needed as I feel a little naked without my beloved script blocker..
best regards..

We don't know what the solution is but it's likely a Fx/Gecko change that needs to happen:

It was apparently a Firefox GC bug, fixed in Nightly.
From
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.c ... 058542#c75:
I am surprised nobody answered your question earlier. NoScript performance has already been fixed in Nightly, take a look at the comments in this bug for more details:
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1264896
However, this bug hasn't been uplifted to Firefox Dev Edition 48 so now I see two options:
1. Wait for Firefox Dev Edition 49 release that will contain all the latest Nightly 49 bugfixes including the one that fixed NoScript performance
2.
Switch to Nightly
