Google UK homepage and maps broke

Hi,
For several releases, google homepage and maps have been broken. If you try and click the 3x3 matrix top right (https://www.google.co.uk/intl/en/options/) to access the apps nothing happens. Also google maps (https://www.google.co.uk/maps/) cannot access the menu (top left 3x horizontal black lines) or cannot see the earth view icon.
Any ideas, i have not changed any settings and was working up until several releases ago?
