I hate doing this: Temporary allow -> Forbid -> Allow

I usually temporary allow a site to see if I do need javascript on that site.
I want to (permanently) allow if it's the case.

However I found myself having to go to this route all the time: Temporary allow -> Forbid -> Allow
The page refreshes every time the permission changes, so it adds more pain when I have to "forbid" first before I can see "Allow" option.

Could you show "Allow" option too even if I have just "Temporary allow" it?
So I can just: Temporary allow -> Allow
It's much easier on my life since I do it a lot.
Add it as an option if you don't think most users find it useful.

Would you implement it? Thank you in advance. :D

The menu item Make page permissions permanent is already there.
Do you know about the auto-refresh option in the General tab?

Aha! If you left-click on the status bar icon, you get the sticky menu. A click on forbid still keeps the menu up and doesn't refresh the page yet. Then click on Allow. Press esc or click outside the menu to save the changes and get the screen auto refresh. Piece of cake!

Of course Lady's suggestion works too, but only if you want to Allow all the temporary page permissions.

I realize why left-click trick doesn't work. I usually click on the options button of the notification bar. It doesn't matter whether I left or right click. The menu is always not sticky. I hope this inconsistency of behavior could be fixed too.

It requires two clicks and without refresh now so it's easier.
Ideally the "allow" should be still visible even if I choose "temporary allow" so I can finish in one-click.

I don't want to change all temporary allow permissions into permanent.
I usually fine tune and whitelist only the full domains I want instead of the boarder base ones.
Don't forget I'm paranoid. ;)

Sticky menu is the implementation provided to facilitate multiple selections without a refresh. I you want to take advantage of it, you need to get in the habit of clicking on the status bar icon instead of the notification bar. http://noscript.net/faq#qa5_5
That's what I had to do. It's not that hard.

I have to agree, Giorgio already has a large number of implementations for various behavior styles and comfort levels and it seems to be sufficiently overkilled already. Instead of using the popup bar options, just turn that off in the options, and use the icon in the statubar to make choices so you can use the sticky menu. Alan suggested it already and that's how a large number of us operate, without the popup/notification bar. Even if you use the notification bar options to do your things, if you want to make it permanent just use the statusbar icon and/or toolbar icon to make your choices permanent without too much trouble. Just saying.

GµårÐïåñ, I don't see how it's regarded overkill to allow people to left click and right click to call (non-)sticky menu on the notification bar. ;)
I know some people hide status bar to save precious screen space so this feature means more to people with small monitors.
That being said it isn't utmost important either. It's nice to have but okay to miss.
Do it if you have free time. Don't do it if it's too difficult. :P

Overkill in the sense that the notification bar is just that, quick, simple with options to get what you need. Then there is much more granular and advanced options by right-click on the icon in the statusbar and then even more with the sticky menu left-click on the statusbar menu that allows for even more. I won't comment on the toolbar since I don't use it but I suspect it has as much as the statusbar icon, if not more. :)

The overkill comes in that it offers everything you want to do, to add more clutter to the menu whose realestate is pretty much a premium already for something that can already been done, seems a bit excessive, that's all. Ultimately its just my opinion and no offense is meant, Giorgio decides and that's the final word anyway. ;)
