Untrusted Sites

Why is it that every time I forbid a site from the dropdown menu, it automatically goes into the Untrusted list? Is this normal?

Yes.

If you don't want to allow a particular site, & if you have no reason to "Untrust" it, then simply do nothing, as by default it isn't allowed in any case.

And as it is not allowed to begin with, there is no need (necessarily) to actually "Forbid" it. (Some use "Forbid" to mark sites that they may never want to see, but there is no difference from that & simply not allowing the site.)

[Not sure about Allow Global offhand, whether that affects "Forbidden" sites or not? Forbidden is overridden by Allow Global, but Untrusted is not.]

about:config > set noscript.forbidImpliesUntrust to false

either that, or you've got some setting like "Temporarily allow top-level sites by default" on, so it's doing that behavior so that sites you forbid won't be auto-allowed
*Always* check the changelogs BEFORE updating that important software!
