Tried to install NoScript addon today but https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... /noscript/ page says "Not available for Firefox 42.0"

Will this be fixed soon?

Are you able to install it anyway? I think you'll find that it is compatible.

The add to firefox button was greyed out and I did not think to try it.

It does give me the option to "Install anyways" and does let me install it. :D

Any idea why NoScript is considered not compatible with 42.0?

Not available for Firefox 42.0
That is what it says on AMO.

And this is what it says in noscript-2.6.9.39rc1.xpi (from informaction):

Code: Select all

<em:maxVersion>41.0</em:maxVersion>

AMO grays out that install button erroneously a LOT - my rule of thumb is, unless it says something like "Not available for your platform" (or otherwise complains about your *OS*), just ignore it if possible. Firefox itself will tell you if extension is truly incompatible.
