Any change on NoScript & HTML5 canvas?

If there's any change in how NS handles HTML5 canvas scripts, since this post? viewtopic.php?p=70867#p70867
I ask this because some websites & various individual comments state that NS "can already stop canvas fingerprinting."
They may be misinformed (unless disabling JS totally).

"NoScript is a security tool...not privacy tool." I get that - I'm just asking about it.

IIRC, Ghostery officials - on their forum, also said it prevents canvas fingerprinting. I haven't posted there, yet. But AFAICT, it doesn't seem like it does (very well), visiting some of the canvas fingerprinting check / test sites.

Then there's the Firefox beta addon, Canvas Blocker (one more addon :( )https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... asblocker/

NoScript can stop canvas fingerprinting by its script blocking as canvas fingerprinting requires JavaScript.
Aside that, no it doesn't do anything about it.

The canvas blocker works good. I use it and one more addon isn't bad.
