Giorgio, consider adding way to whitelist @font-face sites

Post by tarjk »

The use of remote font icons (@font-face) has taken off in the last couple years. It is now at a state where it is hard to interact with sites without displaying font icons. I apply restrictions to whitelisted sites in my NoScript settings and I want the protections that forbidding @font-face provides (for when I land on a site I have never been to before). And I am aware of the about:config mime value that lets me add regexes to whitelist fonts on sites. But within the NoScript menu, right-clicking an entry in the Blocked Objects menu does not copy the URI to the clipboard--forcing me to have to manually copy the exact domain down by hand, create a regex, put it into an increasingly burgeoning about:config value. So it would simplify everything if there was an easier way to do it.

I'm not sure how an easier way would be implemented, or if it's possible code-wide. Maybe at a minimum you could make right-clicking an entry in the Blocked Objects menu copy the URI to the clipboard? Thought I'd post this thought-rumbling in case you have any feedback on it. Thanks.
