[RESOLVED] Still having whitelist issues

None of the whitelisted sites concerning Netflix were added to my default whitelist as shown in the release notes. :?: Are there still whitelist issues? about:pocket-saved is still not showing either.

One note of interest (if it matters): I upgraded from release X.31 to X.33 (skipping x.32) - This should have no relation to the problem though.

Any help would be greatly appreciated... Thanks!

Your cross-post/thread hijacking in viewtopic.php?f=7&t=21089 has been deleted, as you reposted basically the exact same thing (plus additions) as the OP of this thread.
8-bit, consider this a warning per Forum Rules (note #7). Please do not try to hijack other people's threads (including resolved threads), and please do not post the same question to multiple topics; it makes it needlessly difficult to properly help you. Thanks.

Anyway...

It's not added to about:config > noscript.default for you ? Have you put a user set value for that pref?
(Expected that it's not in your actual whitelist if you didn't do a new install.)

Known, and discussed in several threads already. (As it is now you have to have updated to NoScript 2.6.9.30rc4 at one point, to get about:pocket-saved automatically added to your whitelist.)

Sorry, I did not intend to hijack any threads (my mistake)

Yes - ALL the proper whitelisted sites are in about:config > noscript.default (even noscript:pocket-saved) :D

I did not know about this about:config pref, and was only looking at the whitelist in my NoScript > Preferences > Whitelist. So you are saying that they will only show up there if I did a new "clean" install of NoScript - then my Preferences whitelist will be properly populated?

I will definitely be looking in about:config > noscript.default in the future. Thanks!

Oh, didn't realize you just accidentally posted in the wrong place
For future reference it might be better to ask us to split it, or request deletion of the first when you re-post; then we won't get the wrong end of the stick. Sorry about that.

Yep, not all default whitelist changes propagate to users' existing whitelists. The changes that are applied depend on what sites the user has kept in their whitelist, and (with the exception of Pocket related changes) apply to those sites in some way.

I think you could also get the sites in the default whitelist by resetting all NoScript preferences (of course, backup first using Export button *on the very bottom* of NoScript options!), then export the whitelist (export button unique to the Whitelist panel), then re-importing your config and import the default whitelist export you did. Bit of a run-around, but should work.
